About the job

Are you a licensed and experienced clinician looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with mental health challenges? Then consider joining our team at PrairieCare, a psychiatric healthcare system dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients across Minnesota.

We are currently seeking full-time Therapists for our inpatient hospital expansion. As a Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating psychosocial services for patients of PrairieCare. You will provide a comprehensive range of services to patients and their families, working with children, adolescents, and adults as assigned. You will coordinate care with other relevant internal and external providers and may be assigned supervision responsibilities for master's level interns.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP). Two years of previous mental health experience is strongly preferred, as well as experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings. Experience using electronic health records and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, is desirable.

We offer a robust benefits package, career advancement opportunities, and a great workplace culture where you can grow in your career. Some evenings and weekends may be required, and after training, you should be able to manage disruptive and explosive patients. PRN therapists work a minimum of 4 shifts per month that may include some weekend and early evening hours. Additional shifts can be added to the schedule if requested and if shifts are available.

At PrairieCare, we value our employees and the work they do each day for our patients and families. We are committed to providing a diverse workforce and supporting Veterans, Disabled, and other protected individuals. PrairieCare does not discriminate against any person based on race, color, national origin, disability, or age in admissions, treatment, or participation in its programs, services, activities, or employment. Offers of employment from PrairieCare are conditional and contingent upon successful clearance of all background studies.

Driven by our values and commitment to safety and quality care, PrairieCare will be joining every major health system in Minnesota with our plans to require a COVID-19 vaccine for all team members, or an approved exemption limited to medical or religious accommodations.

If you're ready to join a growing mental healthcare system committed to making a difference in the lives of patients and families, apply now for Therapist Jobs in Prairie Care USA! #zr #PCJobs1
