Job Title: School Psychologist - ATX Learning
ATX Learning is seeking a School Psychologist to join our team and provide expertise in the development of appropriate social, emotional, and educational growth for students at our school campus. As a School Psychologist with us, you will be responsible for serving as a child advocate, promoting the educational, social and emotional growth of students, and maintaining a positive attitude toward your profession and work with students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Make recommendations based on psychological findings in cases of exemption, retention, acceleration, and other placement situations
- Administer and score cognitive, academic, and social-emotional evaluations under the supervision of the certified school psychologist
- Participate in Child Study Team Meetings, IEP meetings, and reviews test results with parents
- Share in responsibility of reviewing incoming students' records to ensure compliance
- Prepare and submit needed reports as requested by Principal or Director of Student Services
Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- California certification as a School Psychologist
- 1+ years experience as a School Psychologist
