About the job:

Colorado Women's Center is seeking therapists and counselors for their location in Fort Collins, Colorado. The organization empowers women through therapy and mental health services both in-person and online. Position Overview:

As a Mental Health Counselor at Colorado Women's Center, you will have the opportunity to build your own client load quickly and enjoy the flexibility of setting your own client appointment times. You will also have a steady flow of new client prospects, allowing you to develop a thriving career. Our specialties include but are not limited to anxiety, work-life balance, depression, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, self-esteem, body images. Our clients come to us with specific issues related to teen, young adult, midlife, and senior stages of life. Our therapists and counselors are trained in a variety of modalities including Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and therapy services to Colorado Women's Center clients in person and/or online.
  • Conduct intake screenings for potential and current clients.
  • Write client notes and other necessary documentation.
  • Schedule client appointments.
  • Attend staff and professional development meetings as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • A graduate level psychological counseling-related degree.
  • A license that is currently active in the state of Colorado.
  • PhD or PsyD, Clinical Social worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC).
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to learn scheduling software, outstanding emotional intelligence, and therapeutic skills.
